Rescheduling Preferred Pal Visits
Learn how Preferred Pals can reschedule visits directly in the Papa Pal app to enhance member connections.
As a Preferred Pal, you have built strong, trusted connections with your members. To further support your relationships and give you greater control over your visits, we’ve introduced a feature that allows you to reschedule visits on behalf of your members.
This guide details the benefits of this feature and how to use it.
Key Benefits
- Never miss a Preferred Pal visit: If a scheduling conflict comes up, no problem. You and your member can just work together to find a time that works for both of you.
- No need to contact Papa Support: Once you’ve agreed on a date and time, you have direct access to reschedule these visits right in the Papa Pal app.
How it Works
After you and your member have agreed on a new date and time, just follow these steps:
Once you've completed these steps, you’re all set! The member will receive an automated call that will communicate the new time and date to them, acting as an extra layer of confirmation.
Important Things to Know
- Visits can only be rescheduled once.
- Visits can be rescheduled up to 2 weeks into the future.
- Visits must take place within Papa's operating hours (8am - 7pm).
- If you’d like to reschedule before accepting the visit, it must be 24 hours before the visit takes place.
- If you’d like to reschedule after you’ve accepted the visit, it must be 6 hours before the visit takes place.
- Pals cannot reschedule visits that include transportation, including doctor visits. Members must reschedule these types of visits.
