Vehicle Condition and Safety Standards

Review Papa’s vehicle condition and safety standards, designed to support the safety, comfort, and well-being of our members.

To ensure the safety, comfort and well-being of members during transportation visits, Papa Pals need to adhere to the following Vehicle Condition and Safety standards.

Good condition: Your vehicle must be in good operational condition with no cosmetic damage. All tires, brakes, and lighting need to be fully functional.

Factory-installed seating: The vehicle must have five factory-installed seats with functioning seat belts.

Climate control: All windows must be in working condition, and both air conditioning and heating systems must be fully operational.

Vehicle type restrictions: Taxi cabs, government cars, commercial vehicles, commercial-branded vehicles, or other marked vehicles are not permitted.

Aftermarket modifications: No aftermarket seating modifications, such as installed seats, seat belts, or BedRyder systems, are allowed.

Cleanliness and hygiene: The vehicle interior must be kept clean to ensure a comfortable ride for all passengers and should be sanitized regularly.

Mobile device safety: You should always operate your smartphone, including any phones with the Papa Pal app, in a safe manner, consistent with local and state laws.

Insurance Notification: Drivers must promptly notify Papa, Inc. of any changes in their insurance status or policy, including but not limited to lapses, renewals, or changes in coverage.

Thanks for following these standards and helping to ensure the safety of the Papa community!
