How to Stay Informed as a Pal

Discover how to stay informed about Papa Pal updates and visit opportunities by understanding all the communications sent by Papa.

To ensure you are set up for success, Papa will occasionally send you messages and notifications about:

  • New Visit Alerts
  • Upcoming Visit Reminders
  • App Feature Updates
  • Bonus Earning Opportunities
  • Monthly Pal Newsletters
  • Account and Visit Activity Updates
  • Calls/Texts from our Support Team

Enabling Push Notifications

To ensure you don’t miss any important information or updates, we recommend enabling push notifications. Here’s how you can do that:

For iPhone:

  1. Open Settings: Open the "Settings" app on your iPhone.
  2. Find Notifications: Scroll down and select "Notifications."
  3. Select the Papa Pal App: Scroll through your apps and tap on "Papa Pal."
  4. Enable Notifications: Toggle on "Allow Notifications." Ensure "Alerts," "Sounds," and "Badges" are enabled.

For Android:

  1. Open Settings: Open the "Settings" app on your Android.
  2. Find Apps & Notifications: Select "Apps & Notifications" from the menu.
  3. Select the Papa Pal App: Scroll through your apps and tap on "Papa Pal."
  4. Enable Notifications: Tap on "Notifications" and toggle on "Show Notifications." Ensure you enable all necessary notification categories.

Enabling Text Messages:

Make sure you haven’t accidentally unsubscribed to Papa’s text messages. If you have, you can resubscribe, please follow these steps.

  1. Send a Text: Open your messaging app and send a text message with the word "START" to the Papa Pal number you've previously received messages from.
  2. Confirm Subscription: You should receive a confirmation message indicating you have re-subscribed to SMS notifications.

If you still do not receive text messages from Papa, contact Papa Pal support through chat for further assistance.
